Team Neilson Partners shone at the 2022 Victorian/Tasmanian First National Real Estate General Excellence and Marketing Awards held at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne and not just because they were looking fabulous.
2021 was another tumultuous year for Victorian real estate as the industry once again navigated and managed the ongoing impacts surrounding COVID-19. As Victoria experienced the longest lockdown worldwide, the property management and investor relations sector took a hard hit with not only many COVID-related hurdles but with legislation changes in March 2021 that saw a large number of rental providers opting to sell their investments.
Despite the challenges of the past 12 months, the Neilson Partners team excelled and on the night were rewarded with a number of individual and Office awards for excellence.
Magnificent 7
Commercial Department Manager Shannon Hynd topped the individual awards receiving Magnificent 7 - No. 1 Investment Relations Manager of the Year for Victoria and Tasmania, Commercial Property Manager of The Year and the Diamond Award for Commercial Revenue.

“I think the biggest thing this year has been communication. 2021 was again very tough for commercial real estate, with a lot of difficult conversations and the overriding legislation, but the ability for all to work together has resulted in strong results in all business facets coming out of lockdowns and legislative pressures”, says Shannon.
Lily Thompson, Neilson Partners Business Development Manager was also recognised for excellence after only 1 year in the industry, receiving the Magnificent 7 - Elite Business Development Manager of the Year award.
