FIRST NATIONAL NEILSON PARTNERS RESPOND TO COVID-19

First National Real Estate Neilson Partners has announced practical temporary measures in response to Australian Government Department of Health recommendations related to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The agency says it has taken sensible steps to avoid direct contact, such as shaking hands, is observing social distancing, deferring non-essential rental property inspections, and working with clients responsively on specific arrangements where necessary.

First National Real Estate Neilson Partners Managing Director, Todd McKenna, says the temporary changes are intended to underpin the essential functions of the property market as well as to reassure customers that all necessary precautions are being observed.

‘While the presence of Coronavirus certainly requires us to observe some sensible precautions, the business of real estate continues and it’s essential that we support clients who are selling their homes as well as the needs of our tenants and landlords’.

‘So, for the time being, we’re continuing all the normal functions that support tenants moving into and out of properties, but deferring non-essential routine inspections. Open homes have been temporarily ceased, but we will be offering walk through videos on each vacant home as an alternative viewing option.

‘In all other respects, we’re getting on with the job of selling, renting and managing property at First National and optimistically working with our community as Australia responds to the effects of Coronavirus.
