Lysterfield is located approximately 32km south east of Melbourne’s CBD. It is approximately 29 square kilometres and the Lysterfield Lake Park and Reserve covers nearly 52% of its total area. Lysterfield Lake allows for a range of recreational activities such as sailing, swimming, mountain biking and walking. Lysterfield is also home to numerous equestrian trails and horse riding schools. Over 90% of the homes in the area are owner occupied. Its local government area is the City of Knox and Shire of Yarra Ranges.
