Nar Nar Goon, known as the mural town, is located in Gippsland, 61kms from Melbourne's CBD within the Shire of Cardinia.

Dating back to 1865, Nar Nar Goon is host to many historical buildings and a stroll trough town will showcase the numerous murals painted on these buildings.

The town has a private and public Primary School, Community Centre and Hotel. It also has it's own Railway Station and a small number of shops.

In recent years the Pakenham Racing Club moved to new premises in Nar Nar Goon.
